Palmyra Area School District’s Title 1 program provides reading and math intervention services to students who need additional support with literacy and/or math. It is a grant from the government that allows our schools to provide extra resources and services for students who may be struggling with literacy and/or math.  

 

Identified students receive reading and math support from specialists and/or support staff. Throughout the year, students’ progress is monitored, and they may begin or end these services based on assessments and teacher recommendations.  When a child is selected for Title 1 services, a letter is given to the teacher and sent home to the parent/guardian.
