Matthew Franchina

Graduated from Messiah College with a BS in biology in 1999.

Worked for Dojindo Molecular Technologies as a research scientist in Gaitherburg MD.  Developed DNA damage and glutathione detection kits using the novel color shifting aspect of WST-8 for colorimetric microplate assays.  Super fun job.

Worked at Penn State College of Medicine Dept of Cellular and Molecular Physiology as a research tech II.  Studied Diabetic retinopathy.  Worked with a bazillion rats.  Absolute master at removing rat retinas.

Taught biology at John Harris High School.

Have been teaching at Palmyra for the past 13 years or so.  Living the dream.
