¡Hola! Soy Profe Hitz.

My name is Cynthia Hitz. I teach Spanish 2, Spanish 4, and Spanish 5 (Cultures, Communication, and Connections) at the high school. 

I graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a degree in Spanish Education K-12 and began my teaching career at a middle school in Lancaster county. In 2004, I accepted a position at Palmyra Area High School. Throughout the years I have taught all levels of our Spanish classes. 

I am committed to teaching my students with the best methodology to help them acquire the language and continue growth in their second (or third) language skills.  I continue my own language journey through frequent travels to Spanish countries and other countries (20+), attending world language conferences as a participant and as a coach/trainer for world language teachers, personal reading in Spanish, and communicating with many close friends that are native Spanish speakers from Spanish countries.

I look forward to meeting my students and celebrating their successes in the Spanish classroom!
