School Counselor, Grades 1-5 and ROAR Readiness, Grades 1 and 2

There are a variety of ways that I can help support students and their families

• Providing in class observations for children who are struggling academically or behaviorally
• Sharing strategies with families and staff to help them better support children with anxiety, attention, peer relationships or other challenges
• Working directly with students individually or in small groups to provide short term educationally focused short term counseling and teaching ROAR Readiness in our related arts rotation
• Connecting families with additional resources outside of school or with other district staff who can better assist you
• Organizing special programs for students such as Safety Patrol for grade 5
