Hello! My name is Lauren McGrady and I am the elementary school counselor at Forge road elementary.  I started my career in education as a special education teacher and then counselor at Steelton Highspire School District in 2003.  I made the move to Palmyra in 2012 and have been at Forge ever since.  I love the students, families, and staff I get to work with.  I live in Hummelstown with my husband, dog and three daughters.  We are avid Pittsburgh fans and are always busy with our three girls.  

Here is a calming site I created for students to go through if they need help regulating emotions.  I am also hoping to include other resources as I find ones that I believe to be helpful.
