I am a graduate from Kutztown University with a B.S. of Science in Education with a minor in Psychology. I continued on and received my Master's in School Counseling from Millersville University. I have a second Master's in STEM Education from Lebanon Valley College.

I enjoy teaching math and I love to spread the love for math and math strategies. I enjoy bringing out hands-on math activities like tangrams, Rubik's cubes, Challenge 24 cards, and Turing Tumble kits. At each grade level, I try to offer STEM challenges that apply the math skills we just mastered.

I am the coach for Math Counts Club. We practice lots of problem-solving skills and challenging math problems. This club competes at the regional competition where we compete against other schools. It is a great Saturday!

I enjoy taking a group to the IU13 for the Challenge 24 competition in May. Challenge 24 is a game that uses a lot of mental math and quick thinking. Not always are my A+ math students the best 24 solvers. I love seeing my students enjoy this game!

Outside of school, I have four beautiful children, two of which we adopted. We enjoy hiking together and playing games. We enjoy going on mission trips together with our church and I enjoy being an AWANA leader for our elementary programming.
