Hi, my name is Mrs. Rose. I teach 2nd Grade at Lingle Avenue Elementary. I have been teaching for 29 years.  I taught in the Poconos for 7 years, at Susquenita Middle School for 1 year, and here at Palmyra Area School District for the last 21 years.  I have taught many grades from K-8, but have been in 2nd grade for the last 18 years. I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University while living in the Poconos. 

I really enjoy teaching, but I do lots of things outside of school too! My husband and I live in Palmyra and we have 4 children who keep us very busy. You may see me at Paramount Sports Complex or the Hershey Hotel where I am a fitness instructor and enjoy teaching group fitness classes and working out. I love to exercise! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, going for walks with my dog, reading, attending Church, participating in Bible study, and watching my kids play sports.
