My name is Mrs. Edwards.  It is an honor to be a reading specialist in the Palmyra Area School District.  Teaching literacy is my passion! This will be my 15th year as a reading specialist.  I previously taught for 10 years at Lower Dauphin School District as a reading specialist and for 7 years at Derry Township School District as a special education teacher.

I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a dual certification in Special Education from Lebanon Valley College.  Fun fact: I have a minor in music.  I can play the piano and the french horn.

While teaching in the classroom, I obtained my Master’s in Literacy Education and a Reading Specialist certification from Penn State Harrisburg.

I have a husband, Justin, and two beautiful children, Delaney and Greyson.  They are in 6th and 8th grades at Palmyra Area Middle School.  We love going to the beach in Sea Isle City and playing with our corgis named Rudy and Gus!
