Hello, my name is Kathryn Olsen, and I teach elementary general music and choir at Lingle Avenue and Northside Elementary Schools.  This is my third year here in Palmyra, and I couldn't ask for a better place to teach and make music!

I began playing the clarinet in fifth grade, but I've loved making music my whole life! That passion took me all the way to Penn State, where I graduated magna cum laude in May of 2021 with my bachelor's degree in music education. While at Penn State, I had a lot of wonderful opportunities, which included a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York. In 2023, I received additional training in World Music Pedagogy. 

When I'm not teaching, I love to dance, bake, craft, read, and create music on my clarinet, ukulele, and keyboard.
