I started teaching at Palmyra Area Middle School in 2023. Prior to teaching English, I taught in Early Childhood Education for 15 years and then spent 5 years teaching and planning events for Penn State College of Medicine. I live locally with my family (husband Ryan, two children Emmalynn and Evan, and dog Willow). 

I am an avid reader and love to read most genres. I have an extensive library in my classroom with the goal of sharing my love of reading with all who enter my room. I also love plants and being outdoors. I am a leader of two Girl Scout troops and Assistant Scout Master for Scouting America.
