A native of Berks County, I attended Conrad Weiser High School and was the first girl to graduate from the Agriculture program.  I served as a State FFA Officer and then went to Penn State.  When I graduated I worked for Agway and Lebanon Chemical Company.

When my children came along, I decided to stay home for a few years. When they got a little older I returned to school, attending Millersville University and Lebanon Valley College.  I worked for 16.5 years for the Elanco School District.  In 2020, my husband and I embarked on a life journey by purchasing a winery in DownEast Maine.  With just the two of us, we produced over 600 cases of craft wine per year.It was an amazing experience but after a few years I realized I needed to be closer to my children, so we returned to Pennsylvania.

We currently live in Newmanstown with our three dogs and two cats. My daughter and oldest son live in Lancaster so we see them often. They both work for Fulton Bank. My youngest son is a professional drummer and lives in New York City.

I am teaching CP Chemistry and CP Environmental Science.  Next semester I will also teach CP Biology.

I enjoy hiking, fixing up our house, and spending time with friends and family.
