Welcome!

My name is Baethany Barger and I graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 2001 with a degree in Mathematics. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education at IUP. After teaching for four years at the middle and high school levels, I became an Actuary and worked in corporate America.  I was in the insurance field for 5 years but then left to stay at home with my four children. Now that they are growing up, I'm back in education where my heart never left! I am finishing my second year at Palmyra Area High school and I currently teach CP Algebra 1B. In addition to having fun in the classroom, I am also serving as an advisor for the Class of 2028. Can't wait to see what the upcoming school year brings!
