Hello! My name is Julie Grierson, and I am a Literacy Instructional Coach at Palmyra Area School District. Prior to joining Palmyra in March 2025, I taught in the Lower Dauphin School District.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary (K–6) and Early Childhood Education from Millersville University, as well as a master’s degree in Literacy Education and Reading Specialist certificate from Pennsylvania State University.

Throughout my career, I have taught multiple grade levels as a classroom teacher and spent several years as a reading specialist, supporting both core instruction and intervention programs to promote students’ literacy growth.

As a literacy coach, I collaborate with teachers and administrators to strengthen reading and writing instruction through coaching cycles, data-informed practices, and professional development. I am dedicated to helping educators feel confident and supported as they implement evidence-based strategies that meet the diverse needs of their students.

When I’m not working, I enjoy baking, reading, decorating, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
