Palmyra was well-represented at the Lancaster-Lebanon IU 13 Reading Olympics on February 17 and 18 with teams from Pine, Northside, the middle school, and the high school competing with teams from all over Lancaster and Lebanon counties. In preparation for the event, students at each level were responsible for reading 25 books of various genres and preparing to answer questions about each of the books. The goal of Reading Olympics is to encourage reading and embrace teamwork as students reflect on the books they read and participate in three rounds of competition.
