For the third year in a row, The Kiwanis Club of the Palmyra Area is honored to receive a grant from the Pennsylvania Kiwanis Foundation. The Foundation provides essential resources that enable children, youth, Kiwanis clubs, and their communities to grow, learn, and thrive. It’s impact greatly improves the lives of young people and the communities in which they live.

The Kiwanis Club of the Palmyra Area will use the grant to support nurses and social workers in the Palmyra and Annville Cleona School Districts. To address an ongoing need for supplies, the grant will fund items such as underwear, pants, sneakers, and hygiene products for school nurses. Additionally, the club will donate snacks, craft supplies, and other miscellaneous items to be used in the schools as needed.

Kiwanis is a nonprofit organization of volunteers dedicated to "serving the children of the world." The Pennsylvania Kiwanis Foundation encourages Kiwanis clubs and Kiwanis family service leadership programs to apply for grants that further the goals and ideals of Kiwanis.
